Culture as Dialogue

The Third Shore exists to create spaces where stories, ideas, and cultures meet — not to erase differences, but to understand them.

第三岸致力于创造故事、思想与文化相遇的空间——不是抹去差异,而是理解差异。

The Third Shore Foundation is a non-profit foundation (Stichting) established in the Netherlands. We foster intercultural dialogue and global understanding through cinema, philosophy, contemporary arts, and cultural collaboration.

Inspired by the wisdom of Chinese philosophy while embracing the diversity of global perspectives, we seek to create a new cultural commons — where artistic collaboration transcends borders, emerging voices are nurtured, and stories become bridges between civilizations.

"The future of humanity depends not only upon economic progress or technological innovation, but upon our collective capacity to understand one another through culture." — Founding Declaration
