Institutional Collaboration
Developing long-term relationships with foundations, museums, festivals, universities and cultural organisations around shared questions, programmes and future editions.
The Third Shore brings together partners across cinema, art, science, design, media and other fields of cultural production. We are interested in collaborations that create new encounters between disciplines, geographies and ways of thinking.
The founding partner of The Third Shore and co-presenter of the founding panel, The Radical Naturalists.
A partnership built on a shared instinct: that the most urgent cultural work now happens where nature, authorship and technology meet — and that it needs institutions willing to fund it early.
The Third Shore was founded in partnership with Foundation Oasis. The founding edition brought together a small, deliberately cross-sector group of collaborators on both sides of the Asia–Europe axis. We are now opening the platform to the institutions, creatives and networks who will help shape its future editions.
Building the next chapter with us?
The platform is young. If your institution, studio or network belongs between Asia and Europe, we’d like to hear from you.
We work where Asia and Europe meet — connecting people, knowledge and resources that rarely sit in the same room, and giving ideas room to move in both directions.
We work across an evolving network of filmmakers, artists, designers, cultural institutions, brands and creative communities in China. This allows us to connect international partners with local knowledge, perspectives and collaborators, while creating opportunities for ideas and projects to travel in both directions.
We connect projects and partners with cultural institutions, creative communities, media and industry networks across Europe, Asia and beyond, creating new possibilities for exchange, collaboration and long-term relationships.
We bring together people from cinema, art, science, design and other fields to develop new conversations, formats and projects that can emerge through the meeting of different disciplines and perspectives.
We support selected ideas and projects through international development, partnerships, co-production and creative exchange, helping new work take shape across disciplines and territories.
The platform is only as strong as the partners who shape it. These are the forms a partnership with The Third Shore can take.
Developing long-term relationships with foundations, museums, festivals, universities and cultural organisations around shared questions, programmes and future editions.
Creating conversations, exhibitions, screenings, publications and other formats that bring together cinema, art, science, design and different forms of knowledge.
Working with artists, filmmakers, researchers, designers and other practitioners to develop ideas that may not fit neatly within a single discipline.
Connecting selected projects with international collaborators, production partners, cultural networks and new contexts in which the work can develop.
Building relationships that continue beyond a single event — allowing ideas, people and projects to move across regions, disciplines and communities over time.
We are interested not only in bringing people together, but in creating the conditions for new work, new relationships and new possibilities to emerge — with cinema at the core, opening into dialogue with art, science, design and other disciplines.
The Third Shore grows through exchange. We welcome conversations with cultural institutions, filmmakers, artists, researchers, producers, media and partners interested in developing new ideas, projects and forms of collaboration.
Long-term cultural partnerships, programme development, future editions and institutional exchange.
Editorial collaborations, interviews, press enquiries, images and media materials.
Projects in development, creative proposals, co-production opportunities and collaborations across disciplines.
Something we could create together?
New possibilities often begin with a conversation.
